360 TOURS OF YORK: A HISTORY
Humble Beginnings
In 2009, the founder of 360 Tours of York, Jimmy Plessinger, was working as a Realtor. In order to set his listings apart, Jimmy purchased a higher-end camera and began to learn photography. His listings quickly skyrocketed in views and his photos began to get attention around the office. Soon he was photographing for many fellow Realtors and the business was taking off. 360 Tours of York was born.
In 2013 Jimmy left real estate to focus solely on the growing real estate photography business. The business continued growing: helping Realtors simplify their photography process, offering more marketing solutions, and expanding geographically. In 2016 it was time to change the name to reflect the business’s growth expansion.
Deciding on a Name Change
By the start of 2016, 360 Tours of York had grown well beyond the York, Pennsylvania area. The new name had to move away from geographic limitations and suggest a change to focus on real estate photography. The 360 Tours of York name was also very similar to a competitor, and was often a point of confusion for regional clients. With this in mind the name, Real Estate Exposures, came into being.
In June of 2016, the business was officially rebranded as Real Estate Exposures. It is a fitting name change for a business that is expanding well into the Pennsylvania mid-state, and into the Maryland markets.
